The world's shortest escalator? This could be probably a joke but the escalator is true! It is located in a shopping mall in Japan (Kawasaki More Department Store).



This escalator has a height of 834 mm and only 5 steps. What should be the function of this escalator because they also hae stairs beside it? Maybe it's only to gain attraction and it had because it is recorded in the Guinness Book of Records. Maybe they should say it as the world's most inefficient escalator.
